NBA 2K27 With DLSS 5 Leads 28 New Games on GeForce NOW

NVIDIA added 28 games to its GeForce NOW cloud streaming library for September 2026, with NBA 2K27 as the headline release. The basketball title launches with DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, a feature developed with Visual Concepts and 2K that adjusts lighting and material detail to match the game's broadcast-style presentation. The effect covers how light interacts with hair and skin, plus facial geometry of real athletes, according to NVIDIA.

DLSS 5 on RTX 5080 Rigs

GeForce NOW Ultimate members in NVIDIA-operated regions can stream NBA 2K27 on PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, TVs and other supported hardware. DLSS 5 is available when the game runs on a GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rig. The service handles downloads and storage management, so players start without local installs.

New Releases and Catalog Additions

Rebel Wolves' The Blood of Dawnwalker also streams at launch. The open-world dark-fantasy action RPG is set in 14th-century Europe, where war, plague and vampire powers reshape history. Players control Coen, a Dawnwalker whose abilities and choices shift between day and night. Ultimate members get RTX 5080-class performance for this title as well.

Capcom's Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives on GeForce NOW at launch too. The game sends a lone samurai through a twisted Edo-period Kyoto, wielding the Oni Gauntlet to absorb souls and fight Genma enemies. Ultimate members can stream it with RTX 5080-class performance across devices, including the newly supported Firefox browser.

Ten games joined the library this week. New releases include Breathedge 2 and Serious Sam: Shatterverse on Aug. 31, Crimson Moon on Sept. 1, The Blood of Dawnwalker on Sept. 2, NBA 2K27 on Sept. 3, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed on Sept. 3 and Onimusha: Way of the Sword on Sept. 4. Catalog additions this week are How to Fish, Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop and VHOLUME, all from Steam.

More new releases arrive through the month: Bus Simulator 27, Halloween: The Game, Honeycomb: The World Beyond and Wanderburg on Sept. 8; Shroom and Gloom, WARDOGS and Welcome to Elderfield on Sept. 10; Active Matter, Aniimo and Train Sim World 7 on Sept. 15; The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 on Sept. 17; CONTROL Resonant on Sept. 24; and Nivalis Nights on Sept. 29. Steam catalog titles include Mixtape, Neon White, Outer Wilds, Stray and What Remains of Edith Finch.

NVIDIA also listed 18 games that joined GeForce NOW in August beyond the 26 announced that month. These include Cat Mail Co., Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo, Stars Reach, DIVE or DIE: Children of Rain, Escape the Backroom, Hell Is Us, Parcel Simulator, The Thaumaturge, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, STAR WARS Zero Company, Baldur's Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Cold Fear, IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Mount & Blade: Bannerlord II, No Man's Sky and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Availability varies because games are onboarded after their store release dates.
